My name is Ryan E. Smith and I am a physical education teacher at Old Redford Academy in Detroit, MI.  I am an assistant coach for the Novi High School Varsity Baseball team and the head coach of the Michigan Bulls 16U Summer Travel team based out of the Bullpen Baseball Academy in Novi, MI.  I work at the Bullpen as a hitting/fielding instructor and give private lessons and work as an instructor for various camps and clinics throughout the year.  I grew up in Novi, MI and bought a house here about four years ago, so I guess I am a Novi Lifer.  Currently, I am in the ED 870 Capstone Portfolio course at Michigan State University and once I finish, I will have my Master of Arts in Education (MAED) Degree later this summer.  I already walked and am just finishing up my last class.  I have an awesome dog named Bondo and enjoy sports, going to games, country music and concerts, and anything that keeps me active and on the go.
